Soft Scope & licence

Usage rules
Free to use with credit on all social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitch, Facebook, X…) and livestreams. Neither the music nor remixes, samples or covers may be uploaded to music streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music, because that causes false Content ID claims.

What is a chilled vibe?
A soft, low-energy mood you can leave on while you hang out, work or wind down. This site picks Purrple Cat songs by how they sound — energy, calm, warmth — not by title alone.
Is this free to use?
Yes. Free under CC BY 4.0 with credit (“Music by Purrple Cat”). Fine on YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, livestreams and more. Do not upload the music (or remixes) to Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube Music — that causes false Content ID claims.
Is any of this AI music?
No. Purrple Cat writes and produces every Self Release by hand. Started December 2018 with Up All Night.
What is Soft Scope?
The Soft Oscilloscope on this site. Each chill vibe is a channel with its own phosphor colour and a 12-song set picked from measured audio features. The CRT draws a soft sine while the music plays.
Who is Purrple Cat?
A mostly instrumental lofi project that started in December 2018 with Up All Night. No face reveal. 500+ songs, 500M+ streams, 425K followers. The Memories EP and Please Hold Me have vocals; Soft Scope focuses on Self Releases without those vocal records.
